Berikut adalah perintah-perintah pada Command Prompt Windows yang berhubungan dengan jaringan komputer.

Untuk melakukan perintah-perintah tersebut Anda harus masuk ke Command Prompt ( Klik Start ->Run ->Ketik CMD )

Menampilkan informasi konfigurasi koneksi, misalnya Host Name, Primary DNS Type, Ethernet Adapter LAN.

To get started, open your Firefox web browser. In the address/location bar type [about:config] and then press your Enter key. (NOTE: DON’T TYPE THE BRACKETS.)

Tweak #1:
In the Filter bar type [network.http.pipelining]. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from false to true.

Tweak #2:
In the Filter bar type [network.http.pipelining.maxrequests]. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name and change the value from 4 to a higher number anywhere from 10 to 30. I set mine to 30.

Tweak #3:
In the Filter bar type [network.http.proxy.pipelining]. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from false to true.

Tweak #4:
In the Filter bar type [network.dns.disableIPv6]. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from false to true.

Tweak #5:
In the Filter bar type [plugin.expose_full_path]. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from false to true.

Tweak #6:
In the Filter bar type [network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help]. Now, you are going to create a new Preference Name with an Integer Value. To do this, right-click on this line under Preference Name and select New, then Integer.
In the New Integer value box type in [nglayout.initialpaint.delay] and click OK. Then in the Enter Integer value box type [0] (that’s a zero) and click OK.

Tweak #7:
In the Filter bar again type [network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help]. Now, you are going to create another new Preference Name with an Integer Value. To do this, right-click on this line under Preference Name and select New, then Integer. In the New Integer value box type in [content.notify.backoffcount] and click OK. Then in the Enter Integer value box type [5] and click OK.

Tweak #8:
In the Filter bar again type [network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help]. Now, you are going to create another new Preference Name with an Integer Value. To do this, right-click on this line under Preference Name and select New, then Integer. In the New Integer value box type in [ui.submenuDelay] and click OK. Then in the Enter Integer value box type [0] (that’s a zero) and click OK.

Now, close your web browser and restart it. You’ll see how much faster web pages are loading. I sure did.


Cara-Cara Meringankan Kinerja Firefox

Cara Pertama :

Kalau sudah membuka banyak tab pada FIREFOX anda, akan terasa berat sekali. Adakah solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini ?

Teman-teman tidak usah khawatir, karena saya akan memberikan tips untuk mengatasi masalah diatas. Hal tersebut merupakan masalah klasik yang paling sering terjadi pada firefox. Untuk itu ada tiga hal kecil yang bisa anda lakukan pada bagian memory untuk meringankan firefox.

Pertama : Batasi cache memory, untuk itu ketik alamat "about:config" lalu tekan "[ENTER]". Klik kanan di sembarang tempat, lalu pilih "new | integer". Pada Kotak dialog yang muncul, ketik "browser.cache.memory.capacity" dan masukkan nilai "2048". Ini artinya memory yang digunakan adalah 2 Mb, anda bisa mencoba nilai lain dengan kelipatan "1024".

Kedua : Batasi kapasitas history. Hal ini dilakukan pada window konfigurasi yang sama. Bedanya, ketik "browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers" pada kolom "Filter". Klik kanan baris tersebut lalu pilih "Modify". Ubah nilainya dari "-1" menjadi "3". (Nilai "-1" artinya Firefox menggunakan seluruh kapasitas memory).

Ketiga : Batasi kapasitas cache disk. Hal ini juga dilakukan pada window konfigurasi yang sama. Pada kolom filter ketik "browser.cache.disk.capasity", setelah dapat, klik kanan baris tersebut dan pilih "Modify". Ubah nilainya dari "50000" menjadi "2000"

Cara Kedua :

Buka firefox. pada address ketikkan about:config

1. Batasi kapasitas cache memori
Setiap kali Anda membuka sebuah halaman web, Firefox otomatis akan menyimpannya dalam cache memori. Secara default Firefox menggunakannya sebesar jumlah maksimal RAM yang Anda miliki. Itulah mengapa semakin banyak Anda membuka web, memori komputer Anda semakin habis. Untuk membatasinya tambahkan opsi: browser.cache.memory.capacity. Caranya klik kanan, New > Integer. Ketik browser.cache.memory.capacity, enter, masukkan angka 2048. 2048 disini artinya gunakan cache memori maksimal hanya 2 Mega. Anda bisa coba - coba dengan angka yang lain, namun usahakan merupakan kelipatan dari 1024.

2. Batasi kapasitas cache history
Sama seperti cache memori, hanya bedanya peruntukan cache disini oleh Firefox lebih ditujukan untuk mempercepat loading halaman saat Anda menekan tombol back dan forward pada browser. Apabila Anda jarang memakai back dan forward, ada baiknya Anda set dengan nilai
kecil guna menghemat memori. Pada filter ketikan : browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers, ubah nilai -1 menjadi 3. Default -1 artinya gunakan semaksimal RAM yang ada. hmm.. nilai default dari Firefox benar-benar rakus bukan?

3. Batasi kapasitas cache disk
Secara default Mozilla menset ukuran cache disk sebesar 50 Mega. Tentunya ini pemborosan memori. Mensetnya menjadi 2 MB dapat memberikan performa yang positif khususnya bagi komputer dengan memori dibawah 128 MB dan harddisk model lama. Pada filter ketikkan: browser.cache.disk.capacity, ubah nilai 50000 menjadi 2000.

4. Batasi extension/add-ons
Semakin banyak add-ons yang Anda gunakan, semakin besar RAM yang dihabiskan. Disable add-ons yang kurang Anda gunakan. Untuk membandingkan performa memori yang digunakan saat menggunakan dan tanpa add-ons dapat dilakukan dengan mencoba menjalankan Firefox pada kondisi safe-mode. Caranya dengan perintah: $ firefox -safe-mode. Pada pilihan yang muncul pastikan Anda beri tanda pada opsi: Disable all add-ons.


5. Disable Flash
Tahukah anda bahwa animasi flash yang di load saat Anda membuka web memakan resource RAM yang lumayan besar? Konsekuensinya adalah waktu loading menjadi lebih lambat dan berat. Bahkan pada plugin flash sebelum versi 9, resource RAM yang dipakai merupakan akumulasi dari jumlah flash yang dibuka sebelumnya. Gerah? Ada baiknya anda disable flash. Silahkan download dan install flashblock addon.

6. Disable download history
Sebaiknya anda nonaktifkan fitur history ini. Karena semakin banyak download history yang disimpan, maka akan menurunkan performa Firefox. Apalagi bila media penyimpannya pada media removeable seperti disket. Caranya mudah, pilih menu Tools > Options > Privacy. lalu hilangkan pilihan pada “Remember what I’ve downloaded” .


7. Load yang perlu saja
Secara default Firefox tanpa kita sadari merusaha melakukan pre-download pada link halaman web yang mungkin akan kita klik. Hal ini meniru taktik Google yang mencache terlebih dahulu result pertama dari link pencarian yang dia temukan. Tentu cara ini hanya memboroskan bandwdith, dan performa CPU. Untuk menonaktifkan fitur ini ketik pada filter: network.prefetch-next, klik dua kali, agar nilainya menjadi false.


8. Download dan segera tampilkan.
Tips ini mungkin berguna buat yang tidak sabaran. Umumnya firefox akan menunggu beberapa saat setelah download untuk mulai menampilkan halaman yang dituju. Untuk memaksa Firefox agar segera menampilkan halaman web yang didownloadnya Anda bisa menset nilai: nglayout.initialpaint.delay menjadi 0. Apabila belum ada silahkan klik kanan, new > integer > nglayout.initialpaint.delay

Tips untuk menghemat memori lainnya adalah dengan mengaktifkan fitur config.trim_on_minimize. Hanya saja fitur ini hanya efektif pada lingkungan Windows. Caranya klik kanan, new > boolean, ketikkan config.trim_on_minimize. Set nilainya True. Dengan cara ini setiap kali Firefox di minimize, otomatis memori yang di pakai akan dilepas / dibebaskan, sehingga dapat dipakai untuk proses aplikasi lainnya.

Cara Ketiga :

Bukan menjadi rahasia lagi, kehandalan firefox telah diakui banyak pihak, alhasil browser buatan mozilla ini menjadi browser terlaris digunakan oleh banyak orang di dunia.

Dibalik kelebihan yang diberikan firefox, firefox juga memiliki kelemahan. Kelemahan terburuknya adalah bahwa firefox memakan resource kompter yang cukup banyak, alhasil ketika anda menjalankan browser firefox komputer anda terasa melambat. Setiap masalah pasti ada jalan keluarnya, seperti halanya masalah di atas juga pasti ada solusinya.

Pada tips trik kali ini saya akan memberikan solusi untuk masalah di atas, namun sebelum saya membahas lebih lanjut tentang trik tersebut, alangkah baiknya kita mengetahui dahulu penyebab dari lambatnya kiner firefox.

Salah satu penyebab dari lambatnya kinerja firex adalah karena firefox memakan resource yang cukup besar hal tersebut salah satunya disebabkan karena firefox menyimpan history yang cukup bannyak.

Untuk membuktikannya, sekarang coba anda ketikkan satu huruf di address bar, maka firefox akan menampilkan beberapa alamat url yang terkait. Hal tersebut memang akan sangat membantu jika anda lupa URL sebuah website, namun resikonya adalah firefox anda akan bekerja lebih lambat.




Untuk menggantikan history, anda dapat menggunakan add-ons SiteLauncher. SiteLauncher berfungsi untuk membuat keyboard shortrcut yang dapat anda manfaatkan untuk membuka suatu halaman website lebih cepat tanpa mengetikkan url nya di address bar.

Nah, dengan adanya SiteLauncher, anda tidak perlu lagi mengaktifkan web history pada browser firefox anda, alhasil firefox anda akan berjalan lebih cepat.

7.Mengubah settingan expiredKetik about:config di address bar , search dengan kata kunci expiry , ubah settingan check expiry history dan Check Expiry Load menjadi 1

8.Menyimpan image lebih cepatDengan menekan tombol ctrl + click kiri , maka jendela download akan muncul , dan save image-nya.

9.Mensetting Mail & RSSCari accounts.ini file yang ada di root Opera , setiap account pasti memiliki Initial Pool Delay = X dimana X di set menjadi 60 ,dan yang RSS feed menjadi 120 atau lebih.

Instructions:

In the RAR archive, you will find two files:
PlantsVsZombies.exe and PlantsVsZombiesSetup.exe

First of all install the game by using the file "PlantsVsZombiesSetup.exe",
but DO NOT LAUNCH the game.
Then go to the directory where the game has been installed
(it should be something like this: C:\Program Files\PopCap Games\Plants vs. Zombies)
and REPLACE the original file "PlantsVsZombies.exe" with the one provided in the RAR archive.
